1. Production Process

The PP honeycomb board extrusion line integrates advanced co-extrusion and thermo-forming technologies to produce high-performance 3-layer sandwich panels:

Raw Material Preparation

Mix polypropylene (PP) resin with additives (e.g., UV stabilizers, colorants) and melt in twin-screw extruders.

Co-Extrusion & Laminating

Co-extrude the outer/inner flat layers and the middle honeycomb layer simultaneously. The middle layer undergoes thermo-forming to create a cellular structure, while the outer layers form a stable tri-laminate bond.

Surface Treatment (Optional)

Apply fabric, leather, or bubble finishes to the outer layers via laminating, enhancing durability and aesthetic appeal.

Cutting & Finishing

Cut the continuous panel into custom sizes (thickness: 2–12mm; width: 800–1300mm) and inspect for quality.
