Production Process
The PC-UV co-extrusion corrugated board production line integrates raw material preparation, extrusion, co-extrusion lamination, corrugation forming, cooling, and cutting into a continuous workflow:
Raw Material Mixing
PC resin (main layer) and UV-resistant masterbatch (coating layer) are separately mixed with additives (e.g., antioxidants) to ensure uniform material properties.
Dual Extrusion
Two extruders work synchronously—one melts PC resin for the base layer, while the other extrudes the UV-protective layer.
Co-extrusion Lamination
The molten PC base and UV layer are combined through a co-extrusion die, forming a single sheet with an integrated anti-UV coating.
Corrugation Forming
The laminated sheet passes through a corrugating roller set to shape into desired wave patterns (customizable by Jwell).
Cooling & Sizing
The corrugated board is cooled by water circulation to fix its shape, then trimmed to standard dimensions.
Cutting & Packaging
The finished board is cut into lengths per customer requirements and packaged for shipping.
Thickness
Base layer 2–10 mm + UV layer 0.1–0.5 mm (total 2.1–10.5 mm).
Width
1000–2500 mm (adjustable via production line settings).
Wave Patterns
Customizable (e.g., trapezoidal, sinusoidal) based on structural needs (e.g., load-bearing for greenhouses).
