Plastic extruder

Plastic extruder is one of the basic machines used in many industries and is available in multiple sizes and designs. Have you ever asked yourself how plastic tubes, pipes and sheets are made? Can you believe that is thanks to Jwell's plastic extruder.

Plastic extruded products are produced via plastic extrusion. The profile is manufactureable into any of various forms, such as tubes, pipes, sheets, or the like. The process starts when plastic pellets are fed into the extruder, and heat and pressure are applied and the material is melted. The flowing plastic is then extruded under pressure into a die, where it acquires a useful shape. After the plastic is cooled and solidified out of the die, it becomes the final part.

Understanding the Process of Plastic Extrusion

The Jwell plastic extrusion process itself consists of a few core parts: The plastic extrusion, the die and the cooling system. Now, we have melted the plastic pellets and made it a lineal constant shape the extruder outlet. The die is a tool that shapes the melted plastic as it comes out of the extruder. Once the plastic has exited the die, the cooling system helps the fact plastic harden and produce a strong, usable product.
