First stage in the process is feeding prepared plastic POWDER to a extruder (machine). The pellets are heated and the molten plastic is formed in the extruder. This liquid plastic is then pushed through a die that shapes the plastic into a pipe. Once the plastic has traveled through the die, it is cooled and hardened into a strong pipe.
